Residual Stress Calculation of Swage Autofrettage

To derive the residual stress of swage autofrettage thick-walled cylinder, all equations of the axisymmetric problem were utilized, the elastic analysis for swage and elasto-plastic analysis for thickwalled cylinder of loading stage were done. Also, utilized boundary condition and continuity condition of swaging, the formula of plastic radius and the stress and strain of thick-walled cylinder and swage were deduced. Eventually by using the results of elasto-plastic analysis of unloading thick-walled cylinder,the formula of residual stress and reyield radius of thick-walled cylinder were derived. Residual stress calculation formula was used to calculate stress of a simulation tube. The theoretical value shows good agreement with the results of experiment.
