Study on Synthesis of the Complex of Chlorgenic Acid with Zn(II) and Its Antimicrobial Activity

The complex of chlorogenic acid with Zn(Ⅱ) was synthesized.Chemical analysis,elemental analysis,infrared and TG analysis showed that the general formula of the complex was [Zn(C_(16)H_(17)O_9)_2]·3H_2O.The antimicrobial of the ligand and the complex were tested,and the antimicrobial ability of the complex was stronger than the ligand.
