TD-SCDMA pilot capturing apparatus and method

2007
The invention proposes a pilot frequency acquisition method and a device used for the TD-SCDMA terminal, the B3G terminal and the 4G terminal. The device comprises an antenna, a radio frequency receiver, a radio frequency received signal automatic gain control circuit, an A/D conversion unit, a clock generator, a pilot frequency code generator, a pilot frequency searcher, a controller, a frequency synthesizer, an automatic frequency control unit, a register and a memory cell. Each pilot frequency code is divided into a plurality of segments by the pilot frequency acquisition method and the device for searching and acquisition; wherein, the pilot frequency searcher is composed of a reduced sampler, a register, a multiplier, an integral reset calculator, a square sum addition calculator, a divider and a comparator; in the pilot frequency searcher, the I/Q signal code phase and the pilot frequency code phase inputted from the pilot frequency code generator are processed with relative operation; meanwhile, the integral calculation result of the square sum of the I/Q signal code phase is finished; the integral calculation result is the in-band energy integral of the I/Q signal code phase; the two processing results are synchronously transmitted into the divider for division operation; the obtained ratio is sent to the comparator and is compared with the preset threshold value used for judging if the pilot frequency code exists; if the ratio is higher than the threshold value, the pilot frequency code exists in the I/Q signal code phase; otherwise, no pilot frequency code exists in the I/Q signal code phase.
