Level shift having power dectection unit to cut off leakage current path

A level shifter provided with a power detection block the leakage current path is disclosed. A level shifter of the present invention comprises a power detection unit, an input terminal and an output terminal. A power detection unit generates a control signal in response to the level of the first power supply voltage and a second power supply voltage. The input stage is connected between the first power supply voltage and the ground voltage and receiving the input signal. The output stage is connected between the second power supply voltage and the ground voltage in response to a control signal output of the input stage to generate the output signal. Therefore, according to the level shifter of the present invention, when the power down mode, to block the leakage current path and the normal mode when the input signal causes the level shifter of the first power supply voltage level to the output signal of the second power supply voltage level.
