Vasculitis leucocitoclástica como síndrome paraneoplásico de cáncer de mama. Reporte de un caso y revisión de la literatura

2014
Vasculitis encompasses a heterogeneous group of clinicopathological processes whose common denominator is infl ammation and necrosis of the blood vessels' wall. It affects both arteries and veins of various sizes along the body and shows different clinical symptoms. The clinical presentation includes both primary and secondary forms, the latter being associated with rheumatologic, infectious, allergic and neoplastic processes, especially those of hematologic origin. Vasculitis secondary to solid tumors is uncommon. We report a 52-year-old woman with breast cancer associated to leukocytoclastic vasculitis as a paraneoplastic syndrome.
