cis‐Guajanolide aus Osmitopsis asteriscoides

Die erneute Untersuchung oberirdischer Teile der sudafrikanischen Composite Osmitopsis asteriscoides ergab sechs weitere Guajanolide mit einem cis-12,6-Lactonring, der nur in dieser Pflanze vorkommt, ein seco-Guajan-Derivat und zwei Paare epimere Menthen-Derivate. Die Strukturen und die Stereochemie wurden durch Hochfeld-1H- und 13C-NMR-Spektroskopie sowie einige chemische Reaktionen geklart. Die Taxonomie der Gattung Osmitopsis wird kurz diskutiert. cis-Guaianolides from Osmitopsis asteriscoides A reinvestigation of the aerial parts of the South African Composite Osmitopsis asteriscoides afforded six further guaianolides with a cis-12,6-lactone ring which is only present in this species, a seco-guaiane derivative, and two pairs of epimeric menthene derivatives. The structures and the stereochemistry were elucidated by high-field 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and some chemical reactions. The taxonomy of the genus Osmitopsis is discussed briefly.
