Laser flash photolysis of spiropyran in the presence of metal ions in solution

Intermediate trans isomers of spiropyran with different stability participate in the reaction of complexing of spiropyran with metal ions. Several types of complexes are formed. A scheme of the reaction of complexing of spiropyran with metal ions is proposed.
