Transputers : A new approach for processes control

This paper intends to present a modern technique of parallel processing in process control. The reader will find information about the modalities of real time parallel processing, the actual level of development for real time parallel processing systems in process control, the hardware implementation with parallel devices (dedicated purposes microprocessors) and few software examples for the facts presented. A conclusion will ilustrate the gain for the most critical parameter in real time software - the time.
