Open Femoral Hernia Repair – McVay

Femoral hernias are more common in older females and can often be misdiagnosed as an inguinal hernia. In order to assess for a femoral hernia, one must incise the transversalis fascia to expose Cooper’s ligament. The present chapter discusses an open femoral repair.
