On the angular distribution of the brookhaven 1962 neutrino experiment

1963
The differential cross section calculated by a MonteCarlo method and by averaging over the appropriate neutrino spectrum for the experiment gives the general shape of the observed angnlar distribution. This shows the compatibility of the angular distribution with current weak interaction theory. Calculated distributions from pi and K neutrinos show fewer events in the forward direction than observed, indicating that the K neutrino intensity was underestimated. (D.C.W.)
