Broken wire detecting device for stranding machine

The invention discloses a broken wire detecting device for a stranding machine. The device comprises a bracket; a supporting wheel is arranged at the lower end of the bracket; a barrel is arranged on the supporting wheel; a plurality of wire rope through holes are formed on the outer edges of two upper and lower sides of the barrel; an arc fixed bracket which is mutually matched with the upper side of the barrel is fixedly arranged on the bracket through a bakelite fixing block; a plurality of adjusting bolts are fixedly arranged on the arc fixed bracket; the end part of each adjusting bolt is propped against an arc steel tube so as to prop the arc steel tube on the outer edge of the upper side of the barrel; and one end of the arc steel tube is connected with an electric control device through a lead. The broken wire detecting device has the advantages of simple structure and low manufacturing cost, and can timely detect broken wire signals and transmit the signals to the electric control device. The electric control device controls a main motor to stop and process broken strands. The operation is safe, and the phenomenon that the broken wire enters a pressing roll is prevented.
