Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Children

The etiology, epidemiology and pathophysiology of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children are reviewed. The differential diagnosis, clinical findings, and classification of patients with the different risk groups and prognostic factors is discussed. The various phases of treatment and best strategies for permanent disease control are considered.
