A non-isolated buck-boost DC-DC converter with single switch

In this paper a new Buck-Boost converter with only one active switch is presented. In this topology, control of the proposed converter is simple; also, the total switch stress of the converter is relatively low. Moreover, the voltage gain of proposed converter is higher than that of traditional Buck-Boost, Sepic, Zeta, and Cuk converters. Furthermore, the high voltage gain can be obtained with suitable duty cycles. In this regard, converter topology is presented and analyzed analytically in different modes, then converter is simulated with PLECS software and results are assessed to demonstrate its effectiveness.
