Stability Analysis for a Class of Parallel Combined Multi-rate Methods

This paper explores the stability for a class of parallel combined multi-rate methods solving partitioned ODEs in terms of the quantitative and qualitative properties. The theoretical analysis shows that the stability interval should be substituted for the concept of the stability region, and furthermore the existence of stability interval is proven.
