Blockchain and Charities: A Systemic Opportunity to Create Social Value

Countless media reports have exposed scandals concerning charities and non-profit organisations, involving mismanagement of funds, or even outright theft and misappropriation of funds earmarked for social works and projects. The aim of this paper is to show how Blockchain technology can be reconciled with the operating mechanisms of charities.
