Measurement and Analysis of Audible Noise Bringing about by Equipments in Domestic ±500 kV Converter Stations and Noise Reduction Measures

To master the audible noise level of ±500kV DC converter stations in China, the audible noise bringing about by the equipments with large acoustical power such as converter transformers, smoothing reactors and AC filters in ±500kV DC converter stations is measured. According to the measured frequency spectrum, the noise generation mechanism of main equipments in converter stations is analyzed. According to the noise generation mechanism of converter transformers, smoothing reactors and AC filters, different noise reduction measures for them are proposed respectively.
