The invention provides a blood glucose measuring method and apparatus. The blood sugar measuring apparatus comprises a test sheet and a blood glucose machine, wherein the test sheet has a reaction layer, at least one sensing terminal arranged under the reaction layer and a plurality of work terminals; one end of the reaction layer receives blood of a testee and diffuses the same via a capillary action; the sensing terminal has a certain length and is arranged along the reaction layer to sense a blood diffusion range of the reaction layer; the blood glucose machine comprises a test sheet receiver, a calculation unit electrically connected to the test sheet receiver and a processing unit; the processing unit is coupled to the test sheet receiver and the calculation unit; the test sheet receiver can receive an insertion of the test sheet and electrically contact with the sensing terminal and the plurality of work terminals; the calculation unit can calculate correction blood specific volume vale according to the blood diffusion range and diffusion time sensed by the sensing terminal; the processing unit can generate a primary blood glucose value according to a signal transmitted by the plurality of work terminals; and the primary blood glucose value can be corrected according to the correction blood specific volume value and a final blood glucose value can be calculated.
