Provided is a piezoelectric vibration-generating device, which is capable of generating large vibrations even when made smaller and which is also long-lived. Between each of the two ends of a vibrating plate (9) that are welded to a pedestal (7) and a piezoelectric vibrating element (17), the vibrating plate is integrally provided with a deforming section (19) that is convex on one side in the thickness direction and concave on the other side in the thickness direction so as to absorb stress generated by welding. The cross-sectional shape of the deforming sections (19) exhibits an arc shape or U-shape when cut in the thickness direction.
