Análisis descriptivo sobre el concepto combustión en libros de texto universitarios

En este trabajo se hizo un analisis descriptivo sobre como estan organizados los libros de texto universitarios; como presentan la relacion entre los conceptos combustion, calcinacion, corrosion, respiracion, reduccion y oxidacion; la forma como se plantean las preguntas; el tipo de experimentacion que proponen. Complementariamente, se determina si presentan aspectos historicos en el tratamiento de la combustion. El aspecto metodologico estuvo enmarcado en una seleccion de libros y la aplicacion de un cuestionario que contenia una serie de preguntas que guiarian el analisis. Los resultados muestran la ausencia de aspectos historicos y la poca relacion del concepto combustion con otros conceptos. Palabras clave: Libros de texto universitarios. Combustion. Descriptive analysis about the concept of combustion in university textbooks In this paper was made a descriptive analysis of how the university textbooks are organized, how they present the relationship among the concepts combustion, calcination, corrosion, breathing, reduction and oxidation; the form like they think about the questions; the experimentation types that they propose; and eventually to determine if they present historical aspects on the combustion. The methodological aspect was framed in a selection of books and the application of a questionnaire that it contained a series of questions that would guide the analysis. The results show the tendencies of organization of the conceptual content, the little relationship of the concept combustion with other concepts and the absence of historical aspects of this concept.
