Detection Technology of Mine Wire Rope Based on Radial Magnetic Vector With Flexible Printed Circuit

2021
Wire rope is a widely used load-bearing component, and the detection of the degree of damage of the wire rope directly determines its usability. The signal obtained by the existing detection methods is weak, which hampers the quantitative detection task. Considering the original method of wire rope axial detection, this study proposes a method of radial magnetic vector used for flexible printed circuit (FPC) detection. The magnetic coupling pole model and 3-D simulation model are used to verify the feasibility of the radial detection method. The FPC board is processed, and the comparison shows that this method has a higher signal-to-noise ratio. Through the damaged wire rope detection experiment, the quantitative detection of broken wire damage is realized. Experiments show that FPC has a higher detection accuracy and is capable of quantitative detection, which provides a vital technical solution for next-generation wire rope damage detectors.
