Electronic transfer in intercalation processes: Transfer and localization in LiyFe1.33Nb2.67Se10 phases

Abstract Electrochemical intercalation of lithium into Fe 1 + x Nb 3 − 3 Se 10 is reported. The shape of the discharge curve is discussed in relation to the band structure. The results of magnetic susceptibility, e.p.r. and Mossbauer measurements of the intercalated phases are presented and discussed.
