Oscillations of energy gap of superconducting vanadium--carbon sandwiches

Tunnel spectroscopy was used to measure the energy gap of superconducting vanadium--carbon sandwiches. It turned out that the gap oscillates in phase with the critical temperature and, furthermore, there are grounds for assumin that the ratio 2..delta../kT/sub cr/ behaves in similar fashion.
