Purpose is the increasing of the cognitive activity potency of students using the simulation games at study of anesthesiology and critical care medicine. There were compared the evaluations of input and output test control in the two groups, in one of which the simulation game was used. Also there was evaluated the information content of classes, the degree of students activation and emotional mood creation. The teaching methods used were quite effective in spite of the knowledge level result. During a simulation game students have assimilated new knowledge, skills, showing more interest. The usage of modern learning technologies can enhance cognitive activity of students and can model the elements of professional activity.
