Structure Cristalline Du Chlorure De Lithium Dioxanne‐1,4 Monohydrate: LiCl.C4H8O2. H2O

2010
LiCl. C4H8O2. H2O crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with unit-cell dimensions a = 5.98, b = 12.85, c = 10.49 A, β = 113.67°, Z = 4. The structure has been determined from 1290 single-crystal data by a three-dimensional X-ray analysis using heavy atom method, refined by Fourier synthesis and least-squares method to an R index of 0.157. Each LiN+ is tetrahedrally surrounded by one Cl−, two O (dioxanne) and one O(H2O). The structure consists of infinite chains (Li+.C4H8O2)n and (Cl−. H2O)n parallel to the c crystallographic axis and held together by means of Li+-O(H2O) and Li+-Cl− bonds. The principal distances are Li-Cl : 2.35, Li-O : 1.90, 1.96, 1.97, O-H…Cl : 3.15 and 3.19 A. It is shown that a correlation exists between Li-O distances and valence angles of the oxygen atoms. Mean distances in dioxanne : C-O : 1.45, C-C : 1.46 A.
