Telemedicine and Physical Medicine

It is commonly observed that elderly patients, if they usually have access to rehabilitation personnel, have a far lower chance to access a physiatrist. Elderly patients still face social isolation either at home or in sheltered housing: their mobility is restricted and they refrain from asking for support. Easier access to telemedicine technology is now available to fight the social divide.
