Research Status and Trends of Friction Stir Welding Technique

The research status of friction stir welding technique in last five years was introduced from the following aspects: material flow behavior, welding parameters, welding of dissimilar material, welding of high-melting point metal,improvement of the welding method and new materials joints. The predictions and prospects of the future research direction in friction sir welding were discussed based on the current research trends.
