Establishment of retroperitoneal transplantation model of human ovarian carcinoma in severe combined immunodeficiency mice

Objective To establish retroperitoneal transplantation model of human ovarian carcinoma in severe combined immunodeficiency(SCID) mice.Methods Human ovarian carcinoma HO8910 1×10~6 cells were injected into retroperitoneal in SCID mice to establish retroperitoneal transplantation model of human ovarian carcinoma.After four weeks,the transplanted tumors were validated by pathology.Results The transplanted tumors retain similar biological characteristics of human ovarian carcinoma.Conclusion The retroperitoneal transplantation model of human ovarian carcinoma in SCID mice has been established successfully.
