Preparation of phenoxy-prostatrienoic acid derivative

PURPOSE: To prepare the subject compound useful as pharmaceuticals by esterifying the acid group of corresponding phenoxy-prostatrienoic acid derivative with a lower diazoalkane. CONSTITUTION: The compound of formula II (R is lower alkyl) is obtained by esterifying the acid group of the compound of formula I (X is H, a halogen, trifluoromethyl, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy; wavy line represents α- or β-configuration) or antimer of the configuration of unnatural prostaglandin or mixture of these compounds with a lower diazoalkane, preferably diazomethane according to usual methods. R-allene isomer is useful as remedies for the treatment or the prevention of tumor of stomach and duodenal ulcer. COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
