Lifetime Measurement of High Spin States in ~(171)Ta

IntroductionNuclei in mass 70-80 region attract a lot of attention due to large deformation andshape coexistence at low excitation energy. Study of the evolution of collectivity withincreasing angular momentum gives insight into the effect of particle alignment on shapetransition. The systematic study of neutron deficient Krypton isotopes continues to givebetter understanding of these phenomena and underlying dynamics.
