Carrier wave measurement method based on unlicensed frequency band and base station

The embodiment of the invention discloses a carrier wave measurement method based on an unlicensed frequency band. The carrier wave measurement method comprises the steps that if the proportion of user equipment of which CQI is less than a preset CQI threshold in a cell exceeds a preset value, a base station detects the interference situation of working carrier waves corresponding to the cell; if the working carrier waves are affected by strong interference, the base station transmits an carrier wave measurement indication to multiple sets of user equipment in the cell, the carrier wave measurement indication is used for indicating the multiple sets of user equipment to measure RSSI of the corresponding working carrier waves respectively, and the measured RSSI is returned to the base station; and the base station determines carrier wave switching of each set of user equipment according to the RSSI fed back by the multiple sets of user equipment. The embodiment of the invention also discloses the base station. With application of the carrier wave measurement method based on the unlicensed frequency band, base station detection efficiency can be enhanced and processing overhead can be reduced.
