Stratigraphy study of Shahejie formation in north slope of Qikou sag in Bohai gulf basin

In order to understand better the complexity of forming condition in subtle reservoir, based on the systematic study of Shahejie Formation in North Slope of Qikou Sag in Bohai Gulf Basin, this paper discusses the sequence identification marks, partition measures, relevant considerations and genesis analysis in the process of studying continental rift basin. In addition, by establishing the stratigraphic framework in this area the paper analyzes and studies systematically lithologic trap in Shahejie Formation, predicting favorable facies belt and reservoir forming traps and pointing out the favorable zones and exploration targets forming reservoirs in this area.
