Interaction of o-nitroaniline with brønsted sites in aluminosilicates

The electronic diffuse reflectance spectra of o-nitroaniline sorbed on various cation-substituted forms of lamellar silicates, an aluminosilicate catalyst, and Al2O3 have been studied. The specificity of the interaction of the indicator with the Bronsted acid sites in the aluminosilicates and oxides investigated has been discovered.
