Clinical efficacy of meropenem in older nosocomial infection patients

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of meropenem in older nosocomial infection patients Methods Seventy-three older nosocomial infection patients and ninety-six times using meropenem were observed to analy-ses the clinical efficacy and the bacterial eradication and the clinical adverse effect,et al.Results Clinical total effective rates were 76.04%(73 / 96),the bacterial eradication rates were 71.70%(76 / 106),the clinical adverse effect were 3.77%.There was a great safety in the use of 11 chronic renal failure.Conclusions There were well clinical efficacy and safety in using meropenem in older nosocomial infection patients.
