This invention relates to a receptacle (1) with an open base, hat-shaped, comprising a peripheral side wall (2, 2a, 2b, 21) surmounted by a top wall (3, 3a, 3b) suitable for completely covering a wreck (6) of a vessel to the seabed (7) to recover polluting effluent (8) escaping in, said receptacle comprising at least one discharge port (9) of said effluents contained in the interior volume of said receptacle; said exhaust port (9) being situated preferably at the ceiling (3, 3a, 3b) of the receptacle characterized in that the walls (2, 2a, 2b, 21, 3, 3a, 3b) of said receptacle comprises a rigid structure having at least one, preferably a plurality of sealed compartments (4) each equipped with at least one filling orifice (41) and preferably at least one discharge port (45), said leaktight compartments ( 4) preferably being distributed symmetrically in said walls (2, 2a, 2b, 21, 3, 3a, 3b).
