Inflammatory Dermatoses: Other than Acne Vulgaris

In the lesions resistant to medical therapy of the acantholytic genodermatosis of Darier or Hailey–Hailey disease, ablative lasers are the best surgical options. PDL has shown to be a good option for cutaneous lesions of LE resistant to conventional treatments, with the best results being observed in the erythema and telangiectasia. The carbon dioxide, Erbim:YAG and fractional lasers have demonstrated good cosmetic results in the treatment of the disfiguring lesions of chronic lupus erythematosus. AHLE, REM and sarcoidosis are inflammatory difficult-to-treat conditions. Laser therapy has shown to be effective in cases resistant to conventional therapies.
