The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a composite electrode for capacitive deionization. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: manufacturing electrode slurry by mixing an electrode active material, an aqueous binder, and water; forming an electrode layer by coating a current collector with the electrode slurry; and attaching an ion exchange membrane on the electrode layer.
