Measurement of Cross Sections and Vector and Tensor Analyzing Powers for d - p Elastic Scattering at Ed = 270 MeV

Cross sections and vector and tensor analyzing powers A y , A yy , A xx , and A xz for d-p elastic scattering have been measured at a deuteron energy of 270 MeV in order to confirm and extend the measurement of Sakamoto et al. [Phys. Lett. B 367, 60 (1996)]. The extended angular range is θ c.m. = 10°−180°. Highly accurate data have been obtained. The measured values are compared with Faddeev calculations with/without the three nucleon force.
