Project based learning experiences for embedded systems design

This article presents the contents and the teaching and evaluation methods for a required course dealing with the design of real time embedded systems based on microprocessors given during the last years of an undergraduate degree for Telecommunications Engineering. The method used were project-based-learning and the evaluation was based on learned skills. In closing, this article will reflect on how well this course achieved its goals.
