Canine pyometra: assessment to optimise outcomes in first-opinion practice
2017
Four cases of canine pyometra presented to a first-opinion small animal practice in Greater London by owners with financial and personal concerns about treatment options are described. The management decisions are discussed based on the use of diagnostic protocols; reference to clinical and laboratory prognostic markers; and open communication with the owners.
