Letter to the editor: Clinical features and outcomes of benign recurrent vertigo
2020
: Pan and colleagues describe the clinical features and outcomes of benign recurrent vertigo (BRV) (1). We would like to comment on certain issues. BRV is a common vestibular syndrome; the criteria were established in the past by Rutka (2) and the Committee on Hearing and Equilibrium (3). It is characterized by multiple episodes of vertigo lasting between 5 minutes and 72 hours, without auditory symptoms or headache, so Meniere's disease and vestibular migraine are excluded.
