Experimental Study on the Thermal Properties of Ionic Liquids [mmim] DMP-Methanol Solution

The picnometer,ubbelohde viscometer and DOC are used,and experimental measurements of the density,viscosity and specific heat capacity for ionic liquids[mmim]DMP-methanol solution are performed in the temperature range from 293.15 K to 353.15 K.The results suggest that the density and viscosity increase with the increase of the content of the ionic liquid,but decrease with the increase of the temperature.However,the trend of the specific heat capacity is on the contrary. The functional relation between the density and the temperature accords well with the classical linear empirical formula,and the specific heat capacity can be predicted well by using Arrhenius-like equation.The variation trends of the specific heat capacity are fitted with different temperature and the mole fraction by using empirical formula,and the correlation coefficient can get 0.9983.
