"Artifacts" Shaping and Imagination of Modernity——the Analysis of "Dian shizhai Pictorial"'s Text and Image

in the later Qing Dynasty in China under the vision of transformation,the creation and success of "Dian shizhai pictorial" has undoubtedly become a dominant medium factors which the Chinese people to imagine and recognize the "artifacts" of western country at that present,and the press also plays a key roles in the process of modernization.In this article,the author attempts to research from the "Dian shizhai pictorial" presence of part western "artifacts" to reveal its creative group how to imagine and desire the modernization.At the same time,the author want to analysis of the ideological reason how this kind of imagination to creative and explain the reasons through text and image about the shaping of various kinds of western totem artifacts.
