Fault indication and diagnosing device

2016
A fault indication and diagnosing device 1 is provided with: a thermal flux sensor 10 for detecting thermal flux generated by an object of measurement either continuously or in specific time intervals from the start of operation of the object of measurement; and a control device 12 for determining whether or not there is a fault indication on the basis of the detection results from the thermal flux sensor 10. Thermal flux generated by equipment due to current, voltage, sound, vibration, and/or friction changes when a fault indication is generated from the equipment. Accordingly, it is possible to diagnose the presence or absence of a fault indication in the object of measurement by using the thermal flux sensor 10, and without using a plurality of types of sensors, in order to measure the current, voltage, sound, vibration, and friction.
