Efficient alum and iron supported on silica matrix as gel coagulants for advance chemical treatment of dairy product effluents

New coagulants of alum and iron supported on silica matrix were synthesized by sol-gel. Nano iron supported on silica is the best coagulant to remove turbidity and organic materials. The flocculation and 3D coagulations are related to the concentration of nano iron/silica coagulant. Alum and iron supported on silica are more efficient.
