Paper-like catalyst structure and method for manufacturing same

The purpose of the present invention is to address the problem of providing: a paper-like catalyst structure that makes it possible to produce hydrogen efficiently in a reaction for reforming a methane-containing gas and that is provided with mechanical strength, facilitating handling; and a method for manufacturing the paper-like catalyst structure. The present invention pertains to a paper-like catalyst structure (catalyst sheet) containing an inorganic fiber obtained by firing and heat-reducing a sheet-shaped molded body, molded by a wet papermaking method, at a temperature of 950oC or less, and a composite metal oxide containing aluminum and magnesium and supporting nickel metal microparticles having an average particle diameter of 1 to 20 nm.
