Zakat Compliance Intention Behavior On Saving

There are several studies have been done on the issues of zakat compliance. Most of the literatures only focused on zakat compliance on employment income and zakat on business but, it is hardly found the literature regarding zakat compliance on saving. Thus, this paper wants to examine the current level of compliance on zakat on saving. Besides, the objective of the study also attempts to investigate the factors that influence zakat compliance intention on saving. This study applied theory of planned behaviour that consists of three independent variables which are attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. The result on 123 respondents shown that theory of planned behaviour is significantly influence zakat compliance intention on saving. Thus, the findings can be used by the government and zakat institution in finding the appropriate ways to increase the awareness of the public.
