On Integration of the Schrödinger Equation with the Exponential Potential

The Schrodinger eigenvalue problem with the purely exponential potential is investigated in this work. It is shown that exact and explicit discrete bound state solutions with negative eigenvalues may be computed for the attrative potential as well as for the repulsive potential in terms of elementary functions.
