A MULTI-LOAD WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER SYSTEM WITH SERIES - PARALLEL - SERIES (SPS) COMPENSATION

This article presents a new wireless power transfer (WPT) method for multiple loads using repeater coils. A repeater unit is made up of two repeater coils, one of which absorbs power from the preceding unit and the other of which transmits power to the very next unit. Each circuit is connected to a repeater unit, and multiple repeater units control multiple loads. To prevent magnetic coupling, the two bipolar coils in the same repeater unit are mounted perpendicularly. To achieve independent power control of all loads for each repeater unit, the series-parallel-series (SPS) compensation approach is used.
