According to various embodiments, a vacuum assembly (100) may comprise: a support (102) for covering a sealing surface (104), wherein the carrier (102) includes a sealing surface facing the sealing area (102b) for receiving a seal structure (106); one at the sealing area (102b) of the carrier (102) fixed to the sealing structure (106), wherein a portion of the seal structure (106) of the sealing area (102b) extends away for sealing a gap (108) between the sealing area (102b) of the support (102) and the sealing surface (104); wherein at least the portion of the seal structure (106) comprises a material having a Shore A hardness in a range of about 10 to about 40 Shore Shore.
