Development and Application of Power-On Identification Device

With the large-scale promotion of civilian intelligent ammeters, intelligent ammeter's data transmission through the concentrator has become the main way of watt-hour meter's data acquisition. Whether the operation of the concentrator is normal, it will directly affect the collection of intelligent ammeter's data. Working site has been found many cases in which the concentrator is not charged due to box transformer substation power failure, resulting in fault that data collection cannot be returned to the main station system. The main station system is unable to identify this “fault”, which can only be found when the maintenance personnel rushes to the scene. They only need to wait for restoring the power supply without any treatment, the concentrator can resume normal work. This fault illusion will lead to unnecessary staff work, reduce working efficiency and cause a waste of human, material, financial and other resources. Thus, the development of the power-on-identification device is an effective way to improve the working efficiency as well as save the operation and maintenance costs.
